Sudan: Uganda government, LRA peace talks delayed

Peace talks between the Ugandan government and the rebel Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), scheduled to start in the southern Sudanese capital of Juba on Wednesday, have been delayed, a Sudanese official said. IRIN reported 12 Jul 2006.

Can there really be peace? It can, only if all people in Uganda are treated equally and with fairness; with the discovery of oil, which has always been a curse for most countries who have it - Ugandans could continue facing more misery!
